The Chequered flag

Performances / New YorkSo, the show’s been open for a couple of nights and already the end is in sight. Can’t quite believe where the times gone. There are many things I thought I would do on this trip, few of which I will probably achieve. Oh well. Just have to come back then.
I’ve been surprised and very happy with how audiences have taken to Departure Lounge. I genuinely had no idea how Americans would relate to what is a specific aspect of British culture, but people keep telling me they find the boys charming and universally appealing! Amazing how far a few jokes about a potato will get you…
Other than that, my wife is here so I now have my last five days planned for me down to the mili-second, from climbing the Empire States Building, through walking the high line via an inevitable fifth avenue shopping excursion. Good thing I’m a morning person.
